PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

June 1996 to Present: Peck Consultants (Director)
Client representative for the Old Bank Arcade and Chambers project. Dealing with all matters relating to the $M25 redevelopment of the former BNZ buildings in central Wellington. Management of the Resource Consents and Heritage Consents, Engineer to the Contract, co-ordination with Wellington City Council, Bank of New Zealand and lawyers in relation to the Tripartite Agreement between the parties.

Client Representative for Te Puni Kokiri redevelopment of the historic State Insurance Buildings in Lambton Quay, Wellington. Certifying that work and services delivered complied with the client's brief for their new head office.

Facilitated master plan for redevelopment of Wellington Hospital site. Responsibilities included obtaining stake holders sign-off for restructured departments.

Project Manager for the Ministry of Education, National Glazing Hazard Mitigation Project

Project Manager for Submarine Adventures deep dive submarine project, Milford Sound.

October 1990 to May 1996: Carson Group Wellington Ltd (Director)
Client Representative for Ipoh Ltd for the redevelopment of the old BNZ buildings in central Wellington. Responsible for overall co-ordination and development of the project in consultation with Australian based client.

Project Manager for the Ewen Floodway project. This was a joint project between the Hutt City Council and Wellington Regional Council to improve the security of the floodway and provide a new bridge to replace the existing structure. Overall responsibility for budget and programme including land purchase, bridge and roading, public consultation and town planning issues.

Project Manager for the Centre City Plaza Development in Hutt City, a 5-storey retail/carpark development.

November 1985 to October 1990: Chase Corporation Ltd
Construction Manager responsible for all construction matters relating to Wellington property developments.

Project Manager for the Capital Tower project, a 32-level office retail development. Total responsibility for design, construction, planning consents and negotiating surrender of leases with existing tenants.

Project Manager for new 250-bed hotel in Auckland developed for Southern Pacific Corporation. Responsibility included F F & E fitout and budget.

March 1985 to October 1985: Wilkins and Davies Construction Ltd
Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for New Malaysian High Commission, Wellington.

March 1984 to February 1985: Kier Downer Joint Venture
Project Quantity Surveyor on major tunnelling project, part of Monasavu Hydro Electric Scheme, Fiji.

February 1981 to November 1983: Wilkins and Davies Construction Ltd
Project Quantity Surveyor on Sabah Ports Authority harbour redevelopment, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
