The Department of Corrections engaged Peck Consultants to assist them in a number of roles to ensure that the required new facilities at existing prisons met demanding completion criteria. This role required Peck Consultants to quickly understand the various operational requirements of correction facilities spread throughout New Zealand and develop working relationships with head office staff operational staff running the prisons and contractors.. The outcome of this demanding role resulted in all the facilities being completed to meet the required commissioning dates.
