were engaged to manage the design and installation of the infrastructure
for this world first, deep dive submarine tourist venture in a world heritage
site..
A purpose built support vessel was required to be constructed in sections,
transported to Milford Sound, assembled and finally fixed by hinged arms
to the vertical rock face of Milford Sound.
The remote location and lack of available resources together with the
world heritage status of the site imposed special challenges.
