Peck Consultants were the clients' representative and project managers for the innovative adaptation of this heritage classified building. Peck Consultants were responsible for the monitoring of the construction and fitout of Te Puni Kokiri's new offices in the former State Insurance building. A $M15 project dealing with a heritage building and a client that has tight budgets, time and operational constraints.

Te Puni Kokiri's decision to relocate into a Category 1 Heritage building which was being redeveloped by a local developer provided special challenges for Peck Consultants, who were responsible to Te Puni Kokiri for all construction, programme and budgetary issues.

Close co-operation with R B Steel, the developers, ensured that the project finished on time and Te Puni Kokiri were fully operative on the agreed date.
